Update from WCG Comics

2007 is shaping up to be one of the best years yet for Rob Hanes Adventures!

There has been a huge spike in sales for both current and back issues since the release of issue 10, both from retailers and direct online sales. And many of these sales are from new fans who have ordered the full run of the series! As a result, though we have only recently passed the halfway mark of 2007, sales already have surpassed our 2006 figures!

My thanks to the fans and retailers how made this possible, and who continue to support Rob Hanes Adventures.

RHA #10 Reviewed in Comics Buyer's Guide

In case you missed it, Rob Hanes Adventures #10 received a full-page review in the most recent issue of the Comics Buyer's Guide (#1634, Oct. 2007, p. 57).

In a full-page review by Tony Isabella in his "Tony's Tips" column, Tony gives the issue a 4 out of 5 "Tonys," and describes the series as "classically inspired, distinctive, and just a terrific example of how solid storytelling can trump comic books published by bigger outfits."

Tony goes on to say, "Part of me is amazed that the 'bigs' haven't recruited him...." Me too, Tony! : )

Comic-Con International: San Diego Report Posted

In addition to this newsletter and the WCG Comics website, I also have a blog, a message board, and a MySpace page. I'm still trying to figure out when to squeeze in time to work on the comic!

I've recently been working to update my online list of retailers who I know carry Rob Hanes Adventures. While far from comprehensive, I encourage fans of the series to support their local retailers by purchasing the latest issue of RHA at these establishments whenever possible.
