All together now: 1...2...3..."Awwwww."

That's my daughter, Peri Rachel, making her comicon debut. (She was about 9 months old at the time this picture was taken; my wife was 7 months pregnant with her at the last show.) If I may speak as a proud father, many of the people who saw this stopped to take a picture, though they had no idea who she was! She squealed with delight.

But all did not go so smoothly during the show: a fan in a Green Goblin outfit, and another in a very realistic Planet of the Apes costume both made her cry; in fact, only Dad could console her.
