Photo Album from the 2002 Comicon International Go Back
A shot of the immense floor of the San Diego Convention Center, boasting more than 400,000 square feet. Pictured in the photo, from left to right, are WCG Staffers Rodney Reynaldo, Bob Westal, and my wife, Sadina Reynaldo.

All together now: 1...2...3..."Awwwww."

That's my daughter, Peri Rachel, making her comicon debut. (She was about 9 months old at the time this picture was taken; my wife was 7 months pregnant with her at the last show.) If I may speak as a proud father, many of the people who saw this stopped to take a picture, though they had no idea who she was! She squealed with delight.

But all did not go so smoothly during the show: a fan in a Green Goblin outfit, and another in a very realistic Planet of the Apes costume both made her cry; in fact, only Dad could console her.

Here's Dad and Peri Rachel with Darth Vader.
A shot of friend, fellow cartoonist, and Lori Lovecraft creator Mike Vozburg. Visit Voz's website!
